Why Should I Choose Wild Veggie?

Wild Veggie brings real vegetable taste, texture, and nutrition to the table. It's easy and convenient and has virtually limitless menu options.

What flavors are available?

Broccoli is available now, and starting January 2008, Cauliflower, Red Bell Pepper, and Edamame will be available.

How is Wild Veggie made?

Starting with fresh, raw vegetables, Wild Veggie uses an innovative process that produces all-natural, preservative-free real vegetable products. Production begins with fresh, in-season vegetables picked at the peak of flavor that are washed, micro-cut, fast cooked at low temperature and quick-frozen to retain real vegetable taste, texture and nutrition. This process protects the micronutrients needed to promote good health and produces a color stable vegetable product with a two-year frozen shelf life.

Does Wild Veggie have preservatives or artificial ingredients?

There are no preservatives or artificial ingredients in Wild Veggie products. To preserve the fresh vegetable flavor, keep Wild Veggie products frozen at 0°F. Unused portions can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours at 40°F.

What does all-natural mean?

"All Natural" is defined by the USDA as "A product containing no artificial ingredient or added color and is only minimally processed (a process which does not fundamentally alter the raw product)". The label must explain the use of the term natural (such as: no added colorings or artificial ingredients; minimally processed.)

Using fresh, raw broccoli, cauliflower, edamame (soybean), and red bell pepper that is picked in season, Wild Veggie is processed with minimal ingredients to assure real vegetable taste and nutrition. There are no artificial ingredients in Wild Veggie - just fresh vegetables, seasoned with a little salt and butter.

What are the health benefits of Wild Veggie?

Green vegetables contain antioxidant-rich phytochemicals that have protective or disease preventive properties and are believed to offer a significant reduction in the risk of many types of cancer. Antioxidant nutrients further have been associated with memory performance in elderly. Vegetables can aid in weight loss as they are low in calories and provide energy. Vegetable consumption may reduce the risk of diabetes and play a role in bone density.

Just one serving of Wild Veggie provides 30% to 400% of the recommended daily allowance of 350 grams of fruits and vegetables. Wild Veggie Broccoli and Wild Veggie Cauliflower are packed with antioxidant-rich phytochemicals. Wild Veggie Edamame (soybean) is a good source of Isoflavones found in soy, which help reduce menopausal symptoms and osteoporosis.

Is Wild Veggie a soup or drink?

Sip it! Slurp it! Stir it! – It's up to you. Sip it as a drink, slurp it as a hot or cold soup, or stir it into recipes.

Do I have to cook Wild Veggie?
